RB Harp's Challenges
The absence of existing models necessitated a self-directed learning approach, characterized by numerous trials and errors. Additionally, the limited availability of spare parts required procurement to be conducted online from the United States, a process that proved to be both time-consuming and costly in terms of production.
RB Harp's Production Process
The production of RB Harp instruments is entirely handcrafted, reflecting the intricate nature of the work involved. The creation of a single harp typically spans approximately six months. The pricing for these instruments ranges from IDR 23,000,000 for the 25-string model to a starting price of IDR 40,000,000 for the 36-string variant. As of December 2024, RB Harp has successfully produced around 20 units.
